Problem you are having: 1.) I have these things that look like borders on the top and bottom of each entry. I'd like to know how to change them to be the color of the border on the replies, or get rid of them (entry background color is #f4c4dc). (pic provided) 2.) How do I change the color of the username links on the navigation strip from what it is now, to #ffffff?

Theirs are the skies all dark with bombers,
And mine is the peace we knew between the wars.

-Billy Bragg, "Between the Wars"

Pen and ink and acrylic. The bomber planes are made with a stamp that I made out of bicycle inner tube.

Thanks for looking!

I just started using Flickr, these photos are annoyingly small but whatever.

We can never sell out because we never bought in. )

This is the first time I haven't written much in a journal. I usually write at least some lyrics or a quote in the middle of a page, but now I just wanted to let the drawings speak for themselves. I've also avoided listening to music with lyrics because I don't want to illustrate the songs - instead, I've listened to jazz while painting.

I have to admit I haven't painted much before. I've used paint on the background of my pages and I've used it to colour in some details, but now I've created whole pages using paints. And mom bought me oil pastels, the last time I used them I was like 10... I kinda love them, though.

I'll probably change my journaling style after a while again, but it's nice to try new things and I have to say I'm pretty pleased with the results. It's kinda hard to even try to write anything in my journal, because I feel like I don't need to use words anymore.

But yeah thanks for looking, I'll stop rambling now... ♥

Also, my livejournal is in Finnish so please don't add me unless you're Finnish too.

Inked comic book character femaleLoosely based on Macavite’s character Merideth, I drew her in a series of sketches while Shane Nitzsche was staying with us. Shane did me the honor of inking her.

She is obviously very worldly and would not hesitate to rip your head off, literally. I have not named her yet, and am looking for suggestions.

I’ve got a few more characters that I am inking currently, and I am also painting the first cover for “Janos”.

What is Janos? Well, it is a series of independent Graphic Novels of Epic proportions. There are currently 8 people including Shane and I involved in the project. So far without putting hardly anything out into the world while we build the first several issues, the response has been great. We are getting ready to do several interviews with pod-casters and looking for people to dress up as several of the characters for photo shoots, and “public appearances”. There is some video being shot, all kinds of crazy stuff.

As for our Femme Fetale here, she is so radically different than the style I usually draw, which makes me like her, that she actually feels foreign to me. So now I want to draw her constantly, to see who she is. This one image says a lot, but there must be more to her than this.

Next up, a mountain of a man with a … mohawk?

I had envisioned the word as "Tucan," but it turns out to be rather more British in spelling ("Toucan"). In keeping with that theme, I do hope that you enjoy the glamourous colours in this piece.

My heavy hints landed solidly. It’s not even December yet and I got this pair of earrings from Jeffrey.

Yes, that’s Elvis Presley.
Yesterday my sister went to Divisoria for her annual wholesale gift shopping. I tagged along, wearing my new earrings. Roaming around 168 Mall is a blast—except during the holiday shopping madness, when all the [...]
